Cooling Fans

Fans play a crucial role in the cooling process, as they are utilized in both direct evaporative cooling systems (such as soaker lines) and indirect evaporative cooling systems (like high-pressure misting or fogging systems). Whether you opt for a circulation fan (like the Cyclone or Panel fan) or exhaust and positive pressure fans, it's essential to consider air velocity when devising your cooling tactics.

Regular Soaker Lines

East Rock soaker lines are a helpful tool in managing heat stress for cows in barns and parlours. These lines use low-pressure, large-droplet water soakers to penetrate a cow's hair and wet its back. This allows for evaporation and cooling when exposed to high airflow.

Barneye Motion Soaker(Regular)

Soaking cows during hot summer months will bring benefits. It reduces the impact of heat stress on the cows, improve their health and comfort, and increase milk production for farmers.

Barneye Motion Soaker (Smart)

The SMART version of Motion soakers incorporates all the features of the regular version and is deeply integrated into the BARNEYE intelligence system to enable full IoT control in the barn. This allows farmers to independently control and monitor the operation of each nozzle through the local and internet networks.

Barneye Vision Soaker

Soaking lines shower animals in large-droplet water, covering their backs. The water draws the heat out of her body and as the water evaporates she cools down. Soaking systems work best when paired with fans.

High Pressure Fogging

During hot summer months, simply relying on air velocity to cool your herd of cows may not be sufficient. This is where East Rock's high-pressure misting systems come in handy. By using a high-pressure fogging system, micron-sized fog droplets of water are released into the environment without contacting the ground.
