In 2008,East Rock provided Guizhou Hao Yi DuoDairy Co., Ltd. with designing service of Gupu andLiutong dairy farms, each with a total herd of 5,000cows.These were the first projects East Rock hadever designed in domestic market, and also the firstmountain dairv farms in China.
East Rock has been in cooperation with Fonterra since 2008. We supplied andinstalled all the barn equipment and facilities to every dairy farm Fonterra built inChina, and provided engineering, construction and general contractor services tosome projects as well. ln September 2014, East Rock was awarded as a finalist foralue Creation of Fonterra 2014 Vendor Awards, the first Chinese enterprise everwinning such honor
In 2014，EastRock handed over theproject of dairy farms ofDairy FarmingInstituteocated in ShuangchengHeilongjiang Provinceunder an EPCM contractwith Nestle, covering every detail and step of the project, including site selectiondesigning and engineering, construction as the general contractor, equipmentselection and installation, purchase of furniture, appliance and office stationery, andequipment maintenance. This project witnessed the first practice of EPCM modeand a breakthrough of conventional mode of dairy proiect development.
